M. Elizabeth Bemis joined Ruckelshaus Kautzman Blackwell as a law clerk while attending Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and became a partner in 1998. In addition to her legal practice, she also serves as the firm's administrative management partner.
Elizabeth is an experienced attorney who focuses on assisting individuals and organizations with a variety of legal matters, including public safety employment issues, general civil litigation, and family law. For more than twenty-five years she has enjoyed representing police officers, firefighters, and state employees in employment related matters. In addition, Elizabeth works with clients in various aspects of family law including divorce, legal seperation, paternity, child custody, parenting time, relocation, contempt, child support and modification.
